Yes. Madrid walking tours in English are easy to find; one that’s yours alone, at your pace, and in French or Spanish if you’d rather, is not. I grew up between Madrid, Algiers, and Casablanca, so the three feel native. Tell me which one when you write.

Yes, this is where private works best. I keep the legs short, add stops, and set the pace around the youngest walker, so no one wears out. Babies in a pram or carrier go free; children who walk count as one person.

Not any more: walking is private only, so the group is always yours. If you’d rather join an open tour, that’s the bike ride: in English, eight riders max, every day at 10:00 and 15:00. Either way, you get the same guide.

Madrid rarely rains for long, and if it does, I bring ponchos and we walk through it. If you need to cancel, do it up to 72 hours before the walk starts: full refund, minus the card processing fee if you had already paid (usually 2-3% of the total, which the processor keeps). Less than 72 hours before, or a no-show, and there’s no refund.
